A few emails to send out this morning and then to find out where I am going in Clacton-on-sea. Turns out it is quite straight forward M25 up the A12 and turn right at Colchester. Will probably take around 1.5 hours
The journey is fairly uneventful and I arrive a little past 11:00am. Sean of Yellow Pig Promotions is a really nice guy and it turns out that in the past Sean was from around Watford, Borehamwood actually. This lead came from a link at the bottom of an electronic Invoice from one of our existing customers Kan-Do-it.
Sean followed the 'Powered by i-Tr@der ' link and that was how it all started... more can be found about this on Chris Ogle's Blog.
I leave Sean at 2:30 for the trip back to Watford and spend most of this on the phone with Tim Lockett from Healthcare.co.uk a big user of the i-Tr@der Business Platform (PaaS). They are using the complete system including the Electronic Online Forms ordering which Tim is reviewing with 'Four Seasons Nursing Home' group today. They have around 300 homes ordering via the electronic forms and want to introduce some new budgetary controls. More discussion will follow on this tomorrow.
Table Tennis practice this evening... working hard now to improve during the off season to make sure we are on fire for 2009/10
