Up early this morning to write a program that enables me to sort out a problem with the budgetting introduced for one of the clients at Deliver Net. Getting this sorted out early so that I can finalise details of the CEF project and also sort out some reports for Ruth.
Spoke with Ian from kan today about his email footes. There are issues with emails being delivered into some accounts and people on the ground there are complaining to Ian, then I get the complaints. Email issues are never simple. Basically the simplest of email footers with plain text will always work, but with no images or links they are not very sexy. I guess really you just need to be aware which accounts have problems and then just make sure you deal with them in one way and then the vast majority in another way. This is how I operate and it seems to work quite well.
Executives on the Web also have a few remaining issues with email, again this comes down to the differences between Outlook and our system. Once people know how to operate the everything settles down.
Off to my mums to print off the Flight details for tomorrow morning, going to St.Petersburg to do a bit of business and site seeing. On the way back I pick up a few bits and pieces to take over as small gifts.
